TransClim (v1.0): a chemistry–climate response model for assessing the effect of mitigation strategies for road traffic on ozone

چکیده
Abstract. Road traffic emits not only carbon dioxide (CO2) and particulate matter, but also other pollutants such as nitrogen oxides (NOx), volatile organic compounds (VOCs) monoxide (CO). These chemical species influence the atmospheric chemistry produce ozone (O3) in troposphere. Ozone acts a greenhouse gas thus contributes to anthropogenic global warming. Technological trends political decisions can help reduce O3 effect of road emissions on climate. In order assess response mitigation options climate, we developed chemistry–climate model called TransClim (Modelling surface Transportation Climate). The current version considers NOx, VOC CO determines change its corresponding stratosphere-adjusted radiative forcing. Using tagging method, is further able quantify contribution concentration. Thus, well total tropospheric emission scenario. Both quantities are essential when assessing strategies. based lookup tables which generated by set variation simulations performed with EMAC (ECHAM5 v5.3.02, MESSy v2.53.0). Evaluating against independent reveals low deviations all considered (0.01 %–10 %). Hence, reproduce results an simulation very well. Moreover, about 6000 times faster computing climate scenario than complex model. This makes suitable tool efficiently broad range for or analyse uncertainty ranges employing Monte Carlo simulations.

deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...
“the effect of risk aversion on the demand for life insurance: the case of iranian life insurance market”
abstract: about 60% of total premium of insurance industry is pertained?to life policies in the world; while the life insurance total premium in iran is less than 6% of total premium in insurance industry in 2008 (sigma, no 3/2009). among the reasons that discourage the life insurance industry is the problem of adverse selection. adverse selection theory describes a situation where the inf...
